And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

There's going to be an inland sea between Sacramento and Davis this time tomorrow.
Does this mean that the drought is over - or will the electronic billboards still warn of water shortage and need for conservation? I think that my point here is most of that water will wash into the sea...

DeleteI really think that Gov. Brown should inspect the lower bypass area in person, and stay there until he's sure that no snail darters are impacted.
