Cold, Clear Water.

Take a drink, with your eyes, ears and mouth.

  1. Reminds me of my youth in the early 1950s:

  2. I always love seeing things like that when I get out on the stream. The diversity is pretty amazing and ever changing as the weeks go by from early spring until late autumn. I usually take a little camera with me and snap photos of plants that I don't recognize and look them up in my reference books after I get home. It seems like I'm always finding something new. Remember the next time that you get out that fishing is not just about the catching. Try to experience the world around you while you're out and about............

    1. Once I decided to sit on a rock in the middle of one of the upper forks of the American River, close my eyes and see how many different water sounds I could hear and identify from that one spot. It was eye opening to close the eyes and hear the different voices of the stream as it babbled along to the sea.
